I am so proud to announce that I won 'Best Reborn Preemie' 2011 in the Colliii awards!

 

I have always enjoyed art, drawing and painting since I was a child and although it was my dream to be an artist, I knew that in reallity I would not be able to make a living solely from drawing.

So I studied art, pyschology and sociology at college and then went on to working in an administrative role in an office.

I kept up with my artwork, always drawing and painting and set up a hobby / business doing pet portraits which I loved!

My artwork was always a hobby until I discovered reborn babies on ebay in November 2008, I was immediately smitten by this artform and set about finding materials and a practice kit.

Needless to say, my first few attempts were barely recognisable as human babies but I carried on with improving my techniques and learning whatever I could from internet forums and tutorials.

Now reborning is the only artform I practice, I love trying to bring blank vinyl kits to 'life' and no 2 babies are ever the same. I try to attend as many doll shows as I can as I love show casing my work  and meeting other like-minded doll lovers.
